RETROSPECTIVE
“It is a thrilling endeavor to walk backwards in time, revisiting almost 60 years of artwork, gradually rediscovering the 15 year old who started all of this.”
Welcome to my online Retrospective Exhibition 1965-2024, one of the exciting features of my website. It begins with a drawing I did when I was fifteen, “HOLLY & VINE”, follows with "SOLOLA", a watercolor of a corner of the art school in the mountains of southwest Virginia I attended and continues to the work I've done this year. I recently added 50 images bringing the total to 92, including 4 sculptures.
My goal is to create as comprehensive an exhibition as possible of my artistic output. It will serve as an archive, as well as the Retrospective Exhibition. Many earlier works I have lost contact with, but luckily because I kept an extensive photography archive from the beginning, I will be able eventually to share much of what I’ve done, digitally at least.
For now, more work can be viewed in the website's other galleries.
I will send out announcements at each interval so those of you who are interested and want to watch as this exhibition evolves will be alerted to the updates.
If you happen to own a work of mine, it would be great to hear from you. My hope is to create a thorough record of Provenance for all of my artwork someday.
